Meditation & Mindfulness
Meditation allows us to feel calm, relaxed, and connected - with one another and with the beautiful world around us.
It provides a space to process the ups and downs that we inevitably face.
Indoor and outdoor meditations are both beneficial. Indoor meditations are popular because we can readily fit them into our lives at home and work.
Outside meditations provide the additional benefits of connecting with nature.
Being outside, directly sensing the flow of different energies and the diversity of life forms around us, helps to widen our perspective, and gives us a deeper sense of belonging.
When we are in beautiful outdoor places, we often feel most relaxed, and most ourselves. The sense of aliveness and freedom we feel manifests in our increased energy, openness to learning, optimism and creativity.

Weekend Peace Walks
Weekend Peace Walks is a peace initiative I began in March 2022, and links to my Instagram account @rodgers.fleur
Weekend Peace Walks encourages
regular mindful walking in a spirit of peace and friendship.
Peace begins with the mindful intention to bring love and care.
It is also something we achieve collectively by living in harmony,
(and when conflicts do arise, finding ways to understand one another, and achieve healthy resolutions).
Weekend Peace Walks creates a space to be regularly mindful and appreciative of our connections with nature and the world around us.
The practices of mindfulness and gratitude enhance our mental health. Spending time outdoors is healthy in so many ways.
Exploring tangled places allows us to express our wilder natures, to feel the patterns of life unfolding, and to sense our deep love for the earth. .
Cultivating peaceful, happy minds through Weekend Peace Walks :
Weekend Peace walks are a lovely way to get healthy exercise, to relax, unwind and refresh, to connect with nature, and to feel part of an energy of love in the world.
"Every breath we take,
every step we make,
can be filled with
peace, joy and serenity."
Thich Nhat Hanh
